The main pool hall at ALAC consists of an eight lane 25 metre pool with grandstand seating, a large beach entry leisure pool with four 25 metre swim lanes including a river ride with a spa as well as a toddler’s pool. Special features include a water slide and a spa and steam room area.   The Centre now boasts a total of seven indoor multi-purpose courts with the commissioning of the three new parquetry sprung exhibition courts in January 2011.The gymnasium provides a comprehensive range of equipment and classes. ALAC also offers crèche and café facilities.

Our Installation

Powell Security Services installed the security to Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre. The work involved extensive intruder alarms and camera systems as the buildings have undergone refurbishment and new structures have been erected. The new security equipment has been interfaced with existing equipment and upgraded as necessary for a fully functioning system. All works for the site were completed on time and on budget. The security suits the harsh environments of plant rooms, basketball courts and pool areas. The systems have been installed with a view to continued expansion, future network integration and the protection of the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre well into the future.
